Rebekah Gilbert is a Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter and Southern storyteller whose music gives voice to the things people are often afraid to say out loud. With haunting vocals and a poet’s attention to detail, she writes emotionally honest songs about family secrets, complicated relationships, faith, and the courage to choose a different life.

Raised in the Deep South in a deeply-religious environment, Rebekah knows what it means to question everything you were taught and find your own voice along the way. That journey shapes her songwriting, which explores the tension between who we’re expected to be and who we long to become.

A late bloomer by music industry standards, Rebekah moved to Nashville in her 40s to pursue a dream she’d spent years nurturing. Her album Secret Keeper, a collection of songs exploring addiction, relationships, and generational cycles, earned a 2026 Josie Music Awards nomination for Folk/Americana Album of the Year.

Also a published poet, Rebekah brings a storyteller’s heart to both her songwriting and live performances, weaving together Southern roots, folk influences, and touches of blues and jazz.

Her music is for the women who’ve spent a lifetime meeting expectations, keeping secrets, and putting themselves last; for the ones learning that starting over isn’t failure, and that it’s never too late to become who they were meant to be.
